The 8th annual Roots & Shoots Day of Peace festival will be held Sun., Sept. 19, 2010 on Southern California's world famous Santa Monica Pier. This wonderful venue provides sponsors, exhibitors, and vendors with prime visibility and draws an established attendance of 10,000 people of all ages. Here are some of the exciting ways you can get involved:
Vendors and Exhibitors: Please download our Exhibitor Booth Registration Application the same form can be used for non-profit organizations. Simply download and complete the form and return it to our office as instructed on the form. We will be in touch with you shortly once your form is received. Space is limited on the pier so early registration is important. Please contact dar@dayofpeace.ca.org with any questions.
Sponsors: We offer a wide variety of opportunities to align with the Day of Peace Festival and with Roots & Shoots in a state-wide or national capacity. Please contact eviera@janegoodall.org to discuss the most effective sponsorship program for your organization or brand.
Talent and Performers: Celebrities, musical acts, and others interested in appearing, speaking, or performing in support of Jane Goodall's Roots & Shoots mission of peace, please contact the festival's talent coordinator via email at talent@dayofpeaceca.org
Donations: Roots & Shoots is grateful for any and all support. It is through the Day of Peace festival and donations in kind that we are able to continue Dr. Jane Goodall’s mission of encouraging young people to work together to create a better world for people, animals and the environment. Volunteers: If you are interested in volunteering at this year's Day of Peace festival, we would love to hear from you! From helping out at exhibitor booths, to assisting on the concert stage, to supervising our food drive for people and pets, we have many fun volunteer opportunities for all ages who want to help!
