The 8th annual Roots & Shoots Day of Peace festival will take place on Sunday, September 19, 2010 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on the Santa Monica Pier.  The family-friendly eco-fest is open to the public and free to attend.

Join members of Dr. Jane Goodall’s Roots & Shoots youth program from all across the state of California in a celebration of peace.  Through greater environmental awareness and humanitarian effort we can all work together to create a better world for people, animals and the environment.
