Join members of Dr. Jane Goodall’s Roots & Shoots 501 (c)(3) youth program from all across the state of California as they come together on Sunday, September 20, 2009 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on the Santa Monica Pier to promote PEACE. Festival highlights will include:
Simultaneously, Peace Doves will be flying in cities all across the United States and in close to 100 countries worldwide as Roots & Shoots groups all across the globe celebrate Day of Peace with Giant Dove Parades in their own local communities...learn more. “With the peace doves we remind everyone of the truth they sometimes forget – that peace is possible.
